Moving out? – Deregister your electricity and internet

Are you moving? Whenever you move house, you have to deregister the electricity and telecommunications products that you have taken out in your name. At the IKB, there are several ways to do this:

  • By email: simply fill out the form and send it to kundenservice(at)ikb.at. An employee will contact you and process your electricity application.
  • In person: at our customer centre at Salurner Straße 11 in Innsbruck
  • By phone: Austria-wide on our free customer hotline 0800 500 502, from abroad on +43 512 502 56 39. Please note that the recorded message is only available in German. You can also use our callback service by filling out our contact form.

What’s required for deregistration?

  • Customer number/facilities number
  • Invoice address
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Date of deregistration
  • Optional when deregistering electricity: meter reading if possible

 

Please take into account the contractually agreed notice periods.
